Montana studios are fully equipped with the latest tattoo technology to ensure an efficient, professional and hygienic service to our customers.
There are four tattoo stations on the ground floor as well as a dedicated body piercing and laser removal suite on the lower ground floor.
Montana is environmental health registered and maintains the highest standards of hygiene. The studio has a top of the range starclave print autoclave and ultrasonic cleaner in line with current legislation. As would be expected, brand new needles are used for every tattoo. All equipment is autoclaved after each use and autoclaves are spore tested regularly - so put simply - hygiene equipment is maintained and tested on a regular basis. Furthermore, as per recent hygiene legislation the studio has a separate sterilization room to prevent any possible risk of cross contamination.
Tattoo Artists use only fresh inks of the highest market specification which are poured into new disposable ink caps. No surplus ink is at any time re-used. Tattoo Artists wear gloves at all times and make multiple glove changes per client as necessary. Any item that may be touched during the tattoo process is covered in disposable plastic film to avoid the possibility of cross-contamination and all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned with Trigene disinfectant after each client. Furthermore the studio is fitted with non-porous wall and floor material to ensure thorough cleaning.
Prices
The minimum charge for a tattoo at Montana Studios is £50. All tattoo designs will be quoted for at the studio, although it is possible to give advice on designs received via email and arrange consultations/appointments, providing there is a clear image.

Custom and freehand work is generally charged by the hour although flat prices will be quoted for smaller designs where appropriate. Tattoo Artists work at £80 per hour for bespoke pieces.
In order to book an appointment at Montana Studios, we will require a deposit in all cases according to the amount of hours booked. Deposits will be taken off the final price of your tattoo but are non-refundable. A deposit of £50 is required for sessions up to 3 hours and £100 for sessions over 3 hours. Deposits should be paid at the studio at the time of booking. If you are from out of town we can organise a bank transfer. Please note we require 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. We only accept cash payments.
Vouchers
Vouchers are for sale in the studio which can make perfect birthday or Christmas presents.
Montana Studios is now open from 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays by appointment.
Evening and Sunday Appointments are always available by appointment.
